EASY CDMO / Confidentiality & IP

Confidentiality & Intellectual Property Handling Statement

Effective date: 29 October 2026

This page describes the intended handling process for confidential information and intellectual property (“IP”) shared during an inquiry. It is an operational statement, not a substitute for a signed NDA, services agreement, or project-specific IP clause. The parties’ signed agreement controls if it differs from this general statement.

1. Before you send sensitive information

  1. Use the website form for initial business contact and a high-level description only.
  2. If a structure, unpublished invention, route, process parameter, impurity profile, analytical method, technical document, or other trade secret is sensitive, first contact sale@easycdmo.com and request an NDA.
  3. Before confidential material is transferred, the parties should agree in writing on the permitted purpose, authorized recipients, permitted disclosure, duration, return/deletion requirements, and any exceptions.
  4. After the NDA is signed, use the agreed secure transfer method and identify the material as confidential where appropriate.

2. Access, use, and disclosure

Confidential information should be used only to evaluate, quote, perform, or support the agreed project, and only by personnel with a business need to know. Access should be restricted and recipients should be bound by confidentiality obligations. We should not publish, sell, or disclose client confidential information to unrelated third parties. Any disclosure to a laboratory, manufacturing partner, adviser, or other subcontractor should be limited to what is necessary for the agreed purpose and made only where the contract and applicable law permit it, with suitable confidentiality obligations in place.

3. Ownership and IP boundaries

4. Storage, retention, return, and deletion

Initial website inquiries are intended to be stored in a JSON file outside the public web root, accessible only to authorized staff through the protected admin page. Access should be limited to business need. If the parties sign an NDA or project agreement, the specific retention, return, deletion, archival, and backup rules in that agreement should be followed. When information is no longer needed, it should be securely deleted or access-restricted, except for copies that must be retained under applicable law or legitimate recordkeeping requirements.

5. Security incidents and requests

If you believe confidential information was sent to the wrong address or disclosed improperly, contact sale@easycdmo.com promptly and include enough detail to help us identify the matter without unnecessarily resending sensitive material. We should investigate, restrict further access where possible, document the incident, and notify affected parties or authorities when required by contract or law.
